I am brand new to Vbulletin, and pretty much all programming for that matter. I purchased and installed the system less than 48 hours ago. Can someone please point me in the right direction as to where I find instructions to install this them please?

The default layout of wide left and narrow right isn't showing for me other than a pure 50-50 even split. Ideas on how to change that, or is that something not actually set in PaleRed?

Of course you will have issues with this style if you are running any version other than vB 5.0.0
