Question where can I read the default style's CSS?

I've created a new style but I'm struggling with my buttons
I've updated all the image buttons to new images, but I'd like to update the CSS controlled standard buttons like the 'submit new thread' and 'preview post' buttons in the post edit screen.

I can see the space in the Style Editor where the 'Buttons' pane lives and I'm happy that I can input a background and text colour and those update just fine, but if I put any values in there, I lose the rollover highlight function of the default button.

Is there somewhere I can view the default CSS properties for these buttons so I can include the rollover in my new style (I guess I can copy and paste the code into the 'Extra CSS Attributes' box of my new style) and also see how the gradient is included in the standard buttons too so I can have a play with that?

thanks,
James

I am not an expert by anymeans, but I have had pretty good luck using the firebug plugin to firefox to help track down stuff like that.

Style Manager > Select Style > Style options Main CSS. you will find the whole stylesheet for your Style. You can add all custom option at bottom. But what you are looking for might be already a global class called .button class

exactly, yes, but if I put anything in there, it overwrites the CSS setting from the default style that gives the rollover highlight.
What I want to do is read what the CSS settings are for the default profile, but there doesn't seem to be any way I can load the default style into that style options page if that makes sense?

This is the main css.. whatever you declare here should pretty much be global unless u have extra addons which add diff. css with same class.
You can pretty much define whatever you want. no matter what changes happen i thought you asked about button. Not sure how rollover is related to it but just post maybe what you are trying with ur css and etc. maybe i can give a better solution for u
