In the most downloaded box is it possible to do:

Last downloaded for a period of time? Example would be Top downloads for past 24 hours or top downloads for last week?

Not at this moment, but we are looking into this already for the next big release

Any idea of when this will be?

Also it would be great to have last 5 contributers rather then top contributers. Would this be possible?

Just an identifier you choose yourself, for example downloads or something else

@churton: I don't see the purpose of such a feature? When you compare it with your forums: you aren't going to create a list of the 5 people who posted the latest forum posts, but it's normal to create a top posters ranking.
There's no ETA, it will be ready when it's ready. But we will keep you informed in the DownloadsII thread

vBportal

Ok 2 things. 1) Can it work / be ported to work with vbPortal 3.6.0 ?
2) Can the info about latest files be put in the center, above latest threads in forum (www.glhelp.org). And then have top contributors and such on the side blocks.

Ok, changed to vbadvanced, almost there... I would like the description of the file also.. and download link.. how to do?
So it would look sorta like www.glhelp.org in the center there, now I achive this with first add the download, then add it to the forum with attachement, and use the news module to update the portal.. that sucks..

It isn't twice. Have a good look. 1 time it's most recent and 1 time it's most popular.
There is a significant difference between recent and popular files.

Strange, I never saw an issue like this :ermm:

Try the Update Counters link in the DownloadsII navigation (downloads.php), maybe that solves the problem. If it doesn't, please create a new admin account on your site and pm me the info, also the FTP login would be useful to check your files

I had this once too, but this was because I uploaded the file twice. First time I didn't see I had to approve, so I saw already an issue like this.
That's a little problem that uploading the exact file twice is possible, there is no check. Maybe this could be fixed in a future version too?

If you didn't upload twice then I think you have to do what RS Jelle is saying.

I fixed it, the problem occured because i had 2 blocks. The first one i made would not show up no matter what i did so i made another.

Anyway the block that showed up also seemed to include the data for the first invisible block as so had 2 lots of the same info in it.

I just deleted the invisible block and the data is back to normal.

Thanks for looking and helping me.

All the best

sybaris.

How can i Exclude members from the "Top Contributors" section ? For example i have abunch of older files that i want to move from my older dowload system to this one from various users but i dont want to be seen as the top Contributor . Also the same goes for "Latest Files" How can i keep these older files from being seen on the "latest files" section ?

There's no way to do that right now. The only thing that even comes close is you could use the "Assign Uploader" function to change the Contributer from you to the real Contributer.
