What is Follow User?
Follow User from DragonByte Tech is a modification designed to allow members to follow one another in different social aspects of the forum. When a followed user completes an action such as a new post or a new thread, the followers receive either an email and/or PM updates based on their preference. Follow User allows users to follow one another and get notifications when the member they follow complete certain actions. It's an interesting idea, but linking it to notifications seems like it could get very annoying very quickly, especially if you follow a lot of people. Imagine if Twitter emailed you every time someone you followed tweeted! Why not just a page which shows posts from folks you're following? Seems like a much more elegant and intuitive way to handle it. You could keep the notifications for those who really want them.

I know I'm a few years late into this post, but had to ask: is it possible to limit the "follow" to threads started in a specific forum?
