Not sure what portal system that is but the ajax/JS dropdowns are very smooth, nice looking skin!

The change is in the template and I have achieved the portal look with a sidebar hack.

is there a way to have the sidebars open instead of closed? with the option to close them?

Tried to install in 2 forums and no succes, it doesn't even look fixed. I think it has something to do with the css, can't also install the sidecolumns. I've instlled lots of styles even make my own and now I can't seem to make this running...

Ensure that the css files are placed in the correct place and that your forum is not running vBadvanced.

nice looking style, but it is missing the style chooser

also missing this in the footer..

Why is it that every theme I upload has no images with them.... and where are the themes stored in 3.8.4?

You must be looking at a different style because I can clearly see the things that you say are missing just above the footer in their own custom box.
