VBSilver (SubSilver clone) for vBulletin

After request and have the permission given from phpBB's styles team (and the copyright checked), i leave with you:
VBSilver, a clone of SubSilver of phpBB.

That's it. Simply a clone of a loved (for many people) theme for your forum.
This was more like a challenge, by the way (and donated in private first to that community).
  • Valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional

*************
Installation:
*************
1.- Upload the "VBSilver_tc" folder to forum/images/ path
in your server.
It must be like this: forum/images/VBSilver_tc

2.- Go to you AdminCP -> Styles & Templates -> Download / Upload Styles
-> Import Style XML File:
Browse for the VBSilver_1.0.0(vb360rc1).xml file, and import it.

3.- Recommended: use "postbit legacy" to display posts.
Go to you AdminCP -> vBulletin Options -> Style & Language Settings
-> Use Legacy (Vertical) Postbit Template -> Set it to YES.

4.- Enjoy it!

I need a modification for this style , more exactly for showthread page (postbit & postbit_legacy templates)

THis is the vbsilver style on my forum on showthread page :

And in this way I want to make to look :

It's about the .thead function . In vbsilver style this function repeat for every post but in second image is only for the first post .
The blue line is the problem, is an gradient image used only in .thead style option .

Can you help me , please ?

EDIT: At least ... tell me wich template I must edit ... but for sure

That style looks like it's a comment type of post, have you added anything to this skin yourself?

Did you state this backwards?

The blue line is the problem, is an gradient image used only in .thead style option .
If your making a point about the CSS, display the CSS snippets, not just the class name. If you make it too hard to assist you, the replies you receive will be limited.

Although, I think I get the gist of what you are asking. Please re-ask the question to obtain a single clear result. Right now it just looks as if you want someone to re-program your template, and I know that is not what you are asking.

If I could have understood your question more clearly, I would have spent this time giving you an answer. Give it another go. Thanks.

Thanks for reiterating your post. I understand what you are looking for now. Unfortunately, I do not have a vb3 test site up at the moment, so adjusting the template and CSS would prove too difficult. Give me some time and I will see what I can do to get you started.

It's not showthread that you should be looking at its a postbit template, you'd need to replace the postbit template contents with that of the one created in the skin.

Ahhhhh, just got it you mean that the second, fourth, sixth....posts are blue? in that case you edit them so you just go here http://www.mysite.com/admincp/css.php (change mysite.com for your forum url) then click EDIT for the style you want to edit, click Main CSS radio button then click GO, and then you edit the "Second Alternating Colour" to be the same as the first.

If you mean the blue band every other post then it most definitely is in the Main CSS for whichever style you are using.

is defined in the .thead function , but if I change it will change every blue band , I don't want the first blue band to be changed , only all after first .
