remove gap between forums

Hello,
I have two question, first, how do you remove gaps between forums?
2. How do you have the navlink bar little box go all the way to the left, it stops on community, i want it to go all the way to the left to new posts. The first picture is the gap i am talking about. The second is the little box covering "forum action" I want it to move cover all options in the navbar.

thanks in advanced!

1. Don't make every forum a category. Move them into one category instead.
2. The "Forum Actions" is highlighted, because it's active. That's not a bug, that's the right behaviour.

Thanks, for your reply, i want that "action" to do that on entire navlink bar, it will not hover over to the left. There is no way to remove the gap in stylevars?
thanks

Look up the class ".forumhead" - it has a top-margin.
