DESCRIPTION
This Mod allows changing the prefix of a thread using AJAX, without reloading the site, just by double-clicking the prefix.
It is a port of this Mod from vBulletin 3.x.

INSTALLATION
  1. Upload the files from upload folder.
  2. Import the Product XML file.
  3. Activate the Mod in AdminCP, under vBulletin Settings -> Change Thread Prefixes with AJAX.

VERSION HISTORY
  • 2.1.0 (01/03/2016)
    • No template edits required anymore! You should revert them, if you already applied them. Thanks to MarkFL for giving me the idea for this optimization.
    • Minified the JS code. You'll have to upload at least the clientscript folder again.
  • 2.0.0 (28/02/2016)
    • First public release for vBulletin 4.x.

I like idea, but would prefer that install instructions are included with downloaded file, as there are two template edits. I added them for myself manually, but it would make it easier for all of us.

Very helpful little mod, using on a test setup just now and noticed it replaces the Clickable Prefix mod by Lynne and was wondering if there is a way to have them able to coexist?

This mod by Lynne seems to turn the prefixes into links. When you double-click a link, you will trigger it. I don't know how to avoid this and still keep the link clickable.
VBulletin has the same problem. You can double-click a thread title to rename the thread. But if you hit the link while double-clicking, the thread will be loaded.
