DESCRIPTION:

This is a nice Slideshow and Hotbar to the Forum Home.

Note: Remember add images to content.

Installation How-to
1. vbmods folder upload to ftp
2. Navigate to AdminCP > Plugins & Products > Product Manager and import the product-product-yilmaz_hotbar_slide_show-en.xml

Hello yilmaz, Thank you for creating this.
I can't get this to show on forum home at all.
I added $template_hook[ylmslideshow] to the FORUMHOME template after auto template edits did not work, still nothing.


I uploaded the vbmods folder to my forum root & imported product as I would any other addon.

Attachment shows Yilmaz - Slide Show and Hotbar-vboptions settings.
Your help in trouble shooting this would be greatly appreciated.

I tweaked the hotbar a little bit to work along with DBTech's Slideshow:



I messed with the CSS some to get it close to what I want.

Thanks a lot Yilmaz for the great mod.

Is it possible to display the slideshow threads text in a different color rather than the white text?

For example Yellow or Green text on black background?

Works perfectly on vb 3.8.11 with PHP 5.6.40, PHP 7.2.34 and PHP 7.4.12

Many 'undefined constant' errors under PHP7.2 +. These errors are normal under PHP7.2+ (fixed in the attached forumhome_start.php file)

The 16.9 (640x360px) ratio has been added in the PHP file and in the style.css file. Rename the stylecss.txt to style.css (css extension not supported by vb.org)

The carousel is not 'mobile responsive' but the autoinsertion works well. So by using the responsive vB3 theme from Sultantheme for example, it is possible to hide the code $ template_hook [ylmslideshow] and the theme becomes responsive again under mobile.
