I guess I should have been a bit more specific when I was referring to category images. The ones I'm referring to are the ones that are at the top of the category of each forum.

okay... I don't use categories on my forum, so I haven't tested this.

That Category is really a forum with no posts allowed. Its display on the FORUMHOME page is controlled by one of two templates (depending on your forum structure): forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost, or forumhome_forumbit_level2_nopost

Within either of these templates (pick the appropriate one that your site uses), you should find the following line:

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

you want to change it to put in the proper background image:

Block Disabled:      (Update License Status)
Suspended or Unlicensed Members Cannot View Code.

Then name your images catbg_1.jpg or whatever (use the forum id of your specific categories). You will also need to set the path to the folder that you put them in on your server.
